In 1978\, the name was officially changed to "Windmill City Fest" to reflect Batavia's history and to better encompass the city wide   multi day celebration it had become. This year's festival dates and times are: Friday\, July 8: 5-11 p.m. Saturday\, July 9: noon-11 p.m. Sunday\, July 10: noon-6 p.m.
