Calvary Episcopal Church of Batavia is joyfully celebrating 170 years of serving the community of Batavia and central Kane County!
Father Michael Rasicci, Pastor, noted that the church, located at 222 S. Batavia Ave., was first recognized as a member of the Episcopal Diocese of Illinois in 1855.
The church will be honored to have Bishop Paula Clark of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago visit us on February 2, 2025. At the 10:15 a.m. service, Bishop Clark will administer the Rite of Confirmation and Reception of new Episcopalians. An anniversary brunch will be served.
