The Fox Valley Patriotic Organization (FVPO) and the Batavia Flag Day Committee are busy planning for a special Flag Day this year - one that includes a groundbreaking for the Batavia Flag Day Monument.
Please put this date on your calendars, and plan to come see what this phenomenal national-caliber salute to Old Glory will look like. The June 14 evening festivities will start at 5:45 with some patriotic arrangements by the Batavia Community Band. The program will be held from 6:00-7:00pm which will include turning up the first shovels of dirt for the monument. Thank you for your patience, Batavia and the entire Fox Valley area!
