Looking for a dog daycare job in Geneva, IL? This is not a sit-and-play role—you will be on your feet, cleaning, managing behavior, and maintaining safety at all times.

At Dogtopia of Geneva, you’ll learn how to read dog body language, understand play styles, and guide safe, structured group play in a daycare setting.

This is a fast-paced, physically active role that requires a strong work ethic. You’ll be hands-on with dogs your entire shift while working closely with a team. Team members may also have the opportunity to bring their own dog to work.

Position Details

• Part-time
• 3–5 days per week
• Approximately 15–30 hours per week

About the Role

As a Canine Coach, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and structured environment for our daycare dogs. If you’re looking for a dog daycare job in Geneva where you can gain real, hands-on experience, this role offers valuable exposure to behavior, structure, and group play management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise group play to ensure safe and appropriate interactions
• Monitor dogs for changes in behavior or health
• Engage dogs with structured play, enrichment, and basic commands
• Maintain a clean and organized facility at all times
• Assist with feeding when needed
• Clean playrooms, kennels, and outdoor areas (yes, including messes)

What We’re Looking For

• Animal handling experience preferred (daycare, vet, shelter, grooming, training, etc.)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Comfortable lifting up to 100 lbs when necessary
• Able to be on your feet and active for the entire shift
• Genuine commitment to dog safety and well-being
